GUEST MORNING
We work closely with the Police to provide a safe and well-regulated opportunity for non-members (guests) to visit our club and experience target shooting in a controlled environment. These sessions are designed to introduce newcomers to the sport, giving them a chance to see how the club operates and to try shooting under supervision.
Guest sessions are available by pre-registration only and take place on the first Sunday of each month, from 9:30am to 1:00pm. During your visit, you will be accompanied by experienced club members who will guide you through the process, explain safety procedures, and ensure you have an enjoyable and informative experience.
These mornings are ideal for anyone considering club membership or simply wanting to learn more about target shooting in a friendly and professional setting. Spaces are limited, so advance booking is essential.

Registered guests will have the opportunity to try a variety of shooting disciplines, including archery, black powder pistols, air rifles, air pistols, .38 gallery rifles (cowboy-style underlevers), and .22 calibre rifles.
Please note that visitors are only permitted to shoot during designated Guest Mornings. Shooting outside these sessions is not allowed for non-members.
During Guest Mornings, guests may not bring or sight their own rifles, and non-members who hold a Firearms Certificate (FAC are not permitted to shoot their own firearms on the ranges. All equipment used will be provided by the club.
We recommend wearing suitable clothing and sturdy footwear. Guests should arrive by 9:30am; arrivals after 11:00am may not be able to take part in shooting activities.

Most first Sunday morning of the month is devoted to visiting Guests, and the joining process of how to join the club will be explained if you are interested in becoming a member.
Your registration fee covers the necessary insurance, on arrival, please come to the clubhouse, where you will be checked against the attendance list. You will be given a visitors high vis jacket, ear and eye protection and info on the different ranges. You can then purchase tickets to shoot any of the above disciplines.
On Guest Mornings you will be supervised by a ‘marshal’ on a one-to-one basis with each discipline. All the marshals and helpers on these days are volunteers. We can only accommodate a limited number of visitors, particularly for some disciplines which may take longer therefore we recommend an early arrival and you may have to wait a little to take your turn. We have parking on-site but if we are busy it can be limited.
Our Club has a proud safety record and it is one which we intend to continue. You may visit up to four times on a Guest Morning. If you wish to continue to shoot beyond your four visits, you will need to join the club. To find out how to join click here.
Children are able to attend guest mornings but must be supervised by an adult at all times! Minimum age is 10 years old, and they must be deemed by the club strong enough to hold a rifle safely. Children under the age of 10 will not be able to practice archery.

Photography is allowed under certain conditions and at the discretion of the Range Officer.
Photography can interfere with shooting and have some safety implications if not controlled.
Permission must be obtained first before photographing anyone in or around the ranges/club.
