PRECISION AIR
On ‘Guest Mornings’ you may wish to try your hand at Air Pistol or Air Rifle in our 10 metre indoor range. As well as both being Olympic disciplines in their own right , they also serve as excellent training for live firearms.
As a guest you would be given basic tips on safety , sight alignment and how to correctly aim for the best results.
20 shots , 10 on each of two targets will give you an excellent introduction to this precise and engaging discipline.
Ham and Petersham has a range for 10 metre Pistol or Air Rifle shooting which consists of 6 lanes with electric target movers. We have regular club competitions twice a month, usually the ISSF 60 shot competition and the 'Falling Plates' which are run on a fairly informal basis.
Also on one Sunday in the month there are competitions on the 25 metre range , such as Standard Handgun or Rapid Fire. And also 2 competitions per year at 50 yards outside on the 50 yard range.
Whilst being disciplines in their own right, Air Pistol and Rifle are also good practice for any of the live round disciplines, a fact that is often overlooked.

Details of any courses of fire can be found on the members club website. And the club does posses some very nice Air Pistols and Rifles which members can hire from the office.
