Sight adjustment

The only rule in sight adjustment is always to follow the arrow:

• if your arrows are too high, adjust your sight up;
• if your arrows are too low, adjust your sight down;
• if your arrows are to the left of the gold, unscrew the sight pin by winding it anti-clockwise;
• for arrows to the right of the gold, ‘do up’ the sight pin by turning it clockwise.

When aiming always put the sight in the centre of the gold. Do not be attempted to aim off. Adjusting your sight correctly will gain you more points in the long run. Make small adjustments at a time – the further the distance you are shooting at, the smaller the adjustments needed to move your arrows.
