Normally on the morning of the first Sunday of each month from 9:30 to 13:30 we arrange with the Police a time for showing people who are not members around our club and allowing them to experience what shooting is about. If a first Sunday falls on a bank holiday
please check the main page of the web site and/or the club calendar page.
We can let you have a try at Archery, Black Powder pistols, Air Guns, Gallery Rifle (cowboy style rifles) and various types of .22 calibre rifle. It is only on a Guest Day that visitors are allowed to shoot weapons which must be held on a Firearms Certificate.
Please arrive for 10.00 a.m. If you arrive later than 11:00 you may not be able to shoot. All the supervisors are volunteers we can only accommodate a limited number of visitors, particularly for some disciplines which take longer.
You visit will cost £20 for registration and insurance and then there are additional charges depending what you you wish to shoot. On most guest days we offer…

Children attending guest days must be supervised by an adult, be at least 11 years old and be deemed by the club strong enough to hold a rifle safely. Children under the age of 10 will not be able to practice archery.
You can also visit any other time the club is open (click here) and ask for a tour of our facilities and to discuss joining, but the first Sunday is totally devoted to Guests. The guest morning and has the added advantage that you can also try out almost everything we do.
When you arrive, ask anyone to direct you to the office. Inform the Duty Officer that you would like to visit the club. He/she will arrange for you to be booked in and given a visitors badge. He/she will also arrange for someone to take you on a conducted tour around the place and try a few things out under supervision.
