Rules of the Competition

Practical
Targets		Skittles, Small Turkey, Reduced DP1, Reduced DP2, PL15, Large Turkey and Tombstone
Firearms		Any Gallery Rifle .354" to .455"
Sights		Any
Ready Position		As described in the General Rules.
Course of Fire		Ham and Petersham 'Practical'
Layout of Targets, Number of Shots and Scoring System;
Top Left 1.		A single target with 5 skittles, 2 shots on each skittle (maximum score 50)
Top Right 2.		A small turkey, 6 shots (maximum score 60)
Middle/Bottom Left 3.		A hostage target consisting of a reduced DP1 target and a reduced DP2 target folded vertically down the middle. The reduced DP2 target is placed over the left-hand side of the reduced DP1 target so that the full 5 ring of the reduced DP 1 is just visible, 6 shots (maximum score 30)
Middle Middle 4.		A PL15, 6 shots (maximum score 60)
Bottom Middle 5.		A large turkey, 6 shots (maximum score 60)
Middle/Bottom right 6.		A tombstone target, 6 shots (maximum score 60)
Scoring		All targets are scored as indicated, the hostage target is scored as indicated on the reduced DP1 but any hits on the reduced DP2 are subtracted from the score.
Total Shots		The discipline is shot at 15 yards with a time limit of 3 minutes, 40 shots, maximum score 320.
