Safety   Ear muffs are obligatory. Safety glasses are advised. Other safety equipment is at the shooter's discretion.
Target   Service Pistol Target 5.4.3.2.1
Ready   In the "Ready Position", at 25, 15 and 10 yards, the pistol will be held at 45 degrees with the barrel pointing at the ground.
Malfunction   There is no misfire or malfunction allowance in this competition.
25yds   6 shots, 1 exposure, 90 sec.
3 shots standing, 3 shots kneeling.
(Injured/infirm may sit on chair instead of kneeling.)
15 yds   6 shots, 1 exposure, 20 sec.
10 yds   6 shots, 1 exposure, 12 sec.
7 yds   6 shots, 1 exposure, 15 sec.
The pistol will be held in 2 hands with the butt of the pistol touching the stomach, with the barrel parallel to the ground. In the interests of safety this round is fired individually under the guidance of the Range Officer.
Total   4 x 6 x 5 = 120
