The Historic Revolver Competition
 
Target: No. 11 BP 'Racetrack' target
Revolver Any revolver with 6 chambers. Target sights are permitted.
Propellant Pyrodex or equivalent is permitted as well as black powder. Nitro powder may be used in revolvers appropriately proofed.
Style Freestyle- one or two handed.
 
Course of Fire
Practice 1: 25 metres, 6 shots in 60 seconds, then repeat.
  score ex 120
Practice 2: 15 metres, six target appearances of two seconds each. 1 shot to be fired at each target appearance, then repeat.
  score ex 120
Practice 3: 10 metres, three target appearances of four seconds each. 2 shots to be fired at each target appearance.
  score ex 60
Max score 120 + 120 + 60 = 300
   
Reloading Four minutes are given for reloading at each stage.  
   
Misfires No allowable misfires during competition.
