| Sights | Any colour iron sights | |
| Targets | PL7/PL8, Duelling PL17/PL18 | |
| Distance | 25m | |
| Position | Standing, unsupported | |
| Ready position | Gun loaded , barrel pointing towards ground at an angle below 45 Degrees | |
| Course of Fire | 60 shots plus sighters as follows | |
| Sighting series | 1 x series of 5 shots in 6 minutes | |
| Practice 1 | 6 x series of 5 shots in 6 minutes | |
| Sighting series | 1 x series of duelling. Target edges for 7 seconds, faces for 3 seconds, one shot per facing. Relaxed Timing Version allows 10 seconds edge time to permit reloading of single shot pistols. |

| Practice 2 | 6 x series of duelling (as sighting series) | |
| This competition will be conducted in the spirit of current ISSF Regulations. Each competitor is deemed to know the course of fire and the regulations relating to the air pistol and conduct of the competition. Ties will be broken by count-back |
