Rules of the Competition

Airgun   Any type/calibre non-FAC air weapon (i.e. rifles under 12 ft/lbs, pistols under 6ft/lbs). Club air pistols, target and sporting rifles will be available for use.
Sights   Any sights incl. open, scopes, and red-dot.
Sight adjustment   No adjustments allowed to scopes or open sights during the competition.
     
Course of Fire Rifle   10 metal knockdown (and up) targets, at unmarked distances, between 8- 45 yards. 2 shots per target. Each confirmed knockdown/up scores 1 point. Shots to be taken from predetermined standing, seated and benchrested positions.
Firing Points   Firing points will be determined within the covered 50m range.
Course of Fire Pistol   5 metal knockdown (and up) targets, at unmarked distances, between 6-15 yards. 4 shots per target. Each confirmed knockdown/ up scores 1 point. Shots taken from standing stance - double or single handed.
Firing Points   Firing points will be determined within the covered 50m range.
Timing   Shooting to take a reasonable 'sporting' time.
     
Certificates   Certificates awarded for Gold and Silver - in Rifle and Pistol.
Handicapping will NOT be applied, instead there will be a class for each of:
Recoiling Rifle, Recoiless Rifle, Scoped Pistol, Open Sights Pistol.
Ties   Any draws will be settled on a countback against the longest range targets.
     
Medal   A medal will be awarded to the highest score in each class.
