Starting at the beginning in the Car Park

First sight - the Car ParkAfter you have driven up the longish entrance drive, you will come to a small Car Park with space for about a dozen cars. This is generally adequate for Members needs during the week and further overspill parking space is available at the back of the Clubhouse in the area shown at the left of the picture. This copes with Sunday attendance. For the days when there are large numbers at the Club, such as the Firework night, we also own a sizeable paddock at the rear of the Club which is let for horses, but can be used on occasion for car parking. Mundane it may be, but it is good to know that having made the effort to get to the Club, you will be able to park. There are two entrances to the Clubhouse, the main door is behind the car in the middle of the picture and the side door just beyond the verandah on the left. For most events the side door is the most useful since it leads directly to the ranges. The tour starts, therefore, by going up the left hand side of the picture towards ........ Next |
