Two people are certainly identifiable in this picture. Jack Warner, the Chairman of the early days is standing at the right. Sitting on the left of the Trophy with a walking stick is Lord Sudeley, the President. He was the 4th Lord Sudeley, born in 1840 and served as a midshipman during the Crimean War. He was connected with a famous case of bankruptcy which is still the subject of discussion. He died in 1922 after 16 years as a very active President. |
