The 1912 Astor Cup Winners
Two people are certainly identifiable in this picture. Jack Warner, the Chairman of the early days is standing at the right. Sitting on the left of the Trophy with a walking stick is Lord Sudeley, the President. He was the 4th Lord Sudeley, born in 1840 and served as a midshipman during the Crimean War. He was connected with a famous case of bankruptcy which is still the subject of discussion. He died in 1922 after 16 years as a very active President.
