Presented in 1925 by Mr W S Stuart.

In 1933, when there was a Class A and B handicap system in the Club, the "Stuart" was a Class A event. The Course of Fire then was 2 targets of 10 shots each at 25, 50 and 100 yards

The Management Committee of the 1st February 1925 says that Mr W S Stuart offered this Trophy to be competed for under the same conditions as the Gamage Cup, which had been won outright
