Lady Phillips was the wife of Sir Lionel Phillips, a Vice President of the Club since 1916. In 1919 she donated a Cup to be competed for by Boy members of the Club, under 18 years of age. The course of fire was 3 targets of 10 shots at 25 and 50 yards, best 2 at each distance to count. In the first year, the son and younger brother of Jack Warner, C W Warner and A G Warner came 1st and 2nd. Many of the stars of the future are first seen in this competition. By 1925, the course of fire had reduced to 3 targets at 25 yards only
