Named after one of the major early shooters, Colonel Alington's name appears as the Winner of most of the long term Awards in the Club. In 1929 he was a Member of the Committee.The Course of Fire in 1930 was 4 targets of 10 shots each at 100 yards, at Scratch. In 1934, when there was a Class A and B handicap system, the Alington was a Class A Trophy. by 1938, with the same course of fire, it was a shoulder to shoulder competition.Winners |
