Adults who have just started archery are classed as beginners. They will become senior archers when they achieve their third class classification.

Juniors will be classed as juniors until their 18th birthday when they will become seniors.

If beginners or juniors find a round has too many arrows or is too far, and everyone agrees, it can be changed to another round on the day.

If archers classed as beginners choose to shoot the senior rounds, they will automatically be reclassified as a senior archer regardless of whether they have gained third class or not.

See the handicap table on the archery notice board to check whether you are classed as a beginner, junior or senior archer.
